Use PC's internet on Android Phone

STEP 1: 

For Windows: Install USB drivers from Android SDK 
For Linux: Nothing to do 

STEP 2:

On Nexus One: Connect USB cable and activate USB Tethering. You should see on linux or windows a new network interface.

STEP 3:

On Linux Computer, setup a bridge:
# usb0 is the new network intreface
# eth0 is the main interface connected to internet (or a gateway)
sudo ifconfig eth0 0.0.0.0
sudo ifconfig usb0 0.0.0.0
sudo brctl addbr br0
sudo brctl addif br0 eth0
sudo brctl addif br0 usb0
sudo ifconfig br0 up
sudo dhclient br0

On windows, Bridge the 2 network interfaces

STEP 4:

Setup usb0 interface of your phone. You have to options:

1. From your computer, execute:

./adb shell netcfg usb0 dhcp

1. Or in a root terminal on your phone, type:

su netcfg usb0 dhcp
You should now be able to connect to Internet on your phone using your computer’s Internet connection.
Try to do a ping www.google.com to be sure !

STEP 5:
To shut down the reverse-tethering, first unbridge interfaces on your computer:
sudo ifconfig eth0 down
sudo ifconfig usb0 down
sudo ifconfig br0 down
sudo brctl delbr br0
sudo ifconfig eth0 up
sudo dhclient eth0
Then on your phone, uncheck the USB Tethering option !

How To Download APK Files Directly From Google Play

Here we have a step by step procedure which will tell you how to add APK Downloader to your Google Chrome and subsequently, use it for getting APK packages

• Download the extension from the link provided above

• Go to Google Play Store
• Download ‘Device ID’

 

Device ID will get your device ID for you.

Getting APK of an app is simple, just locate the app you want (on Play Store) and clicking on the APK icon on your address bar will get you your precious APK for that app. Another good thing about APK package is that it makes app sharing simple, now you can share an app with your friends by simply transferring the package to their device.

The APK and APK Downloader will make your life a lot easier if you face problems in installing your favorite apps due to connectivity issues or if you like to share your favorite apps with your friends.

How to Root/Unroot/CWM and flash your Samsung Galaxy Ace GT – S5830i

Note :- This guide is for Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i only dont use on GT-S5830
How to root Galaxy Ace s5830i.
1.Download update.zip from here - DOWNLOAD LINK
2.Put update.zip in your main directory in the SD card.
3.Turn off your phone.
4.Boot in Recovery by pressing:POWER+VOLUME UP+HOME buttons.
5.In Recovery select Install zip from sd
6.Choose update.zip
7.Reboot your phone and it's ready.There must be a Superuser icon in your Apps menu.
How to unroot
1.Download unroot.zip from here - DOWNLOAD LINK
2.Exactly the same procedure as of rooting just put the file unroot in your main directory and folow the steps.
ClockWorkRecovery
1.Download ClockWorkRec5830i.zip from here - DOWNLOAD LINK
2.Put the file ClockWorkRec5830i.zip in your main directory in SD again.
3.Turn off phone.
4.Boot in Recovery and select apply update.zip
5.Select ClockWorkRec5830i.
6.You have CWR but don't delete ClockWorkRec5830i.zip from the SD because
every time you want to use it you must install it from the SD!!

Flashing s5830i with Odin v1.85
1.Turn off the phone and put it in Download mode by pressing Power+Volume Up+volume down.
2.Open Odin v1.84.Run as Administrator!.
3.Put the files in Odin and don't touch the settings
4.If it's a one-file firmware put it in PDA section.
If it's multiple put the files in the correct section.
5.Click start and don't touch the phone!Don't turn off computer and don't unplug the phone!It will reboot automatically and the first boot will take some time,so don't panic!
If you have "bricked" your s5830i a.k.a stuck at samsung logo just download Odin and flash PDA.tar Click Here To Download.
Everything you're doing is up to you!I'm not responsible if you don't read!There's a binary counter on s5830i so be careful with flashing!
Update:samfirmware.com provide us with odin 1.84 with .pit file for our phone so from now on you can flash firmwares from samfirmware.com without problems
